Human

I am poisoned by luxuries,
Like ants attracted to sugar.
The unreasonable, unnecessary and useless,
Diverting the ambitions, objectives and purposes in life.

After all, I'm only human.

The Lord said “Kun” be,
In Baqarah, In An’aam, In Maryam.
Kun Fayakun; Be, and it is.

And The Lord said;
He created Jesus just like he created Adam,
“He created him from dust, then said to him: Be! and he was.”

After all, I'm only human.

I don’t have the power of “Kun.”

So in this world, I wander,
As a worshiper, as a believer.
Trying to achieve the achievable,
Trying to achieve the impossible.

And if it is said by Him, then I would be.
I surrender.
